Rex is Mom's significant other and a nice guy.
The Christmas gathering of 2004 at Grandma's house was my first meeting with
Rex.
Mom and Rex live near my brother Ron, who lives over the mountains and well into
the country away from the city life that I currently live. My uncle Don also
lives over that way. I have made a few trips to the area. It is beautiful there.
The last time I went for a visit was a few months before Mom met Rex.
Unfortunately, Don and Ron did not make it over for Christmas 2004.
